The following were dealt with at Harrogate Magistrates Court on November 17:

Shane Damon Price, 26, of 92 Norby Estate, Norby, Thirsk, was given a 12-month community order for damaging a window belonging to Foundation Housing at 34 Belmont Road, Harrogate. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £25 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Jacqueline Linda Renton, 53, of 4 Chapel Street, Knaresborough, was disqualified from driving for 24 months for driving while under the influence of alcohol. The ban will be shortened by 24 weeks on completion of an approved course. Magistrates ordered that the local authority be notified as she holds a liquor licence card which was handed in to court. She must pay a £320 fine, a victim surcharge of £32, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Leanna Jane Robson, 38, of 2 Albert Street, Harrogate, was given a conditional discharge for being drunk and disorderly at the Winter Gardens in Parliament Street. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Amanda Judith Blanckensee, 38, of 46 Bramham Drive, Harrogate, was given a two-year conditional discharge for stealing goods worth £421.25 from Morrisons in Plumpton Park, Harrogate. She was ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a criminal courts charge of £180.

James Dobson, 30, of 1 The Laurels, Ripley Road, Scotton, was given a 12-month community order and instructed to complete 40 hours’ unpaid work and a drink impaired drivers course for driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months, to be reduced by 24 weeks on completion of an approved course.

The following were dealt with at Harrogate Magistrates Court on November 19:

James Henry Bennett, 31, of 8 Appleby Way, Knaresborough, was given a 12-month community order for assault by beating, assault, and damaging an iPhone 6. He was ordered to carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work, to pay a victim surcharge of £60, to pay costs of £85 and to pay a criminal courts charge of £150.

Mananya O’Farrell, 49, of 4 The Pines, Huby, was fined £90 for driving without due care and attention at Starbeck level crossing. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150. Five points were added to her driving licence.
