He’s given a new look to hundreds of customers over the years - and now hairdresser Michael Pearson has done the same for his salon.

Michael unveiled his rebranded and renamed business, All About Hair, at an official opening on Monday, which was performed by the Mayor of Wetherby, Coun Cindy Bentley.

Formerly called Michael Pearson Hairdressing, the Collingham-based salon has a team of seven professional stylists. The business has been given a new salon frontage and logo, as well as new in-salon branding, extending the All About Hair concept to promote the salon’s varied expertise, from All About Cut and All About Colour to All About Style.

Michael, whose passion and flair for hairdressing spans fashion shows, stage demonstrations and leading magazine photo-shoots over 20 years, was an award-winning art director with Toni & Guy in Leeds and Newcastle and West Row Leeds before he established his own business more than seven years ago.

He has given All About Hair a new look as he looks to grow the business and open a second salon in the near future.

Michael said: “Just as my clients come in looking for a new look, after seven years I wanted to give the company a makeover and also to rebrand with growth in mind.

“I felt the time was right to wave goodbye to my name at the forefront and to create a new brand that reflects the entire team and allows us to develop and reignite interest in the salon and our new ventures. We hope the new look is well received by our valued clientele and will entice new customers.”

As part of the new-look business, Michael has created his own bespoke art styling team, and has developed an advanced training programme for his stylists and juniors to keep them at the top of the latest trends and cutting techniques.
