More than 1,000 businesswomen have already signed up for the ‘Be Inspired’ Yorkshire Ladies Links Conference, to be held at the Pavilions of Harrogate on International Women’s Day on March 8.

The free full-day event, whose main sponsor is Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance, will be hosted by former BBC Look North presenter Christa Ackroyd and will feature a line-up of motivational speakers, as well as free business workshops on topics ranging from finance and business coaching, to marketing and PR.

Yorkshire companies including Leeds United, Bettys and Rudding Park will also be exhibiting alongside some of the region’s most exciting and innovative start-up businesses.

Host Christa Ackroyd said: “This event is invaluable and as far away from the dull world of corporate networking as you can imagine. It offers the chance for real interaction with like-minded people and a series of hands-on workshops to make a real difference to business in Yorkshire. The fact that it is free is an incredible testament to Yorkshire Ladies Links.”
