THE winning entries have been declared for the Farmhouse Breakfast Week competition run at Kirby Hill Primary School in partnership with Newby Hall Farm Shop.
To mark the week, pupils at the school supplied the farm shop with healthy and tasty breakfast suggestions.
The winners were announced by farm shop manager Mark Maxwell at an assembly at the school last week.
Taking the top prize of a family season ticket to Newby Hall was Year 5 pupil Marti Roddis who created a food face, while farm shop vouchers went to other category winners.
To show its support for Farmhouse Breakfast Week, which ran from January 23 - 28, the Newby Hall Farm Shop offered special deals on breakfast ingredients as well as tastings which allowed visitors to try locally produced bacon and sausages at the shop from 10am to noon each morning.
