A Harrogate company that developed a hygienic wall-cladding system widely used in NHS hospitals is to showcase its products next week at the world’s second-largest healthcare exhibition in Dubai.

BioClad, based on Cardale Park, developed the world’s first antimicrobial PVC wall-panels which it will be exhibiting at the Arab Health show at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

BioClad’s unique PVC wall cladding is impregnated with silver ions at the time of manufacture, giving it permanent antimicrobial protection.

In addition, the company will also use the exhibition to launch its new BioPod anibacterial modular sink system.

Andy Newbould, Bioclad sales director, said: “At Arab Health we are looking forward to engaging with potential new customers from right around the world, particularly hospital and healthcare owners, plus decision-makers in construction and the finishing details of projects.”

Arab Health takes place from January 25 to 28 and is attended by more than 4,000 companies from 163 countries exhibiting their latest innovations to more than 130,000 healthcare professionals.
