NCI Vehicle Rescue plc has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to Harrogate as it seeks to establish itself as a household name across the UK.

The company, which provides personal and vehicle breakdown cover for the UK and Europe alongside a variety of insurance policies, has signed up to another three year term and a 50 per cent expansion of the office space at its Victoria Avenue headquarters.

Having enjoyed considerable growth over the last year across its breakdown, motor and pet insurance sectors, NCI now plans to add up to 25 extra staff to its 72-strong team to cope with continued demand.

Managing director Neil Richards-Smith said: “We are continuing to invest in key areas such as hiring new staff, training and developing employees, and commissioning state-of-the-art IT equipment.

“Our vision is to establish the company as a household name for vehicle recovery and insurance products throughout the UK, from our expanding base in Harrogate - and to do that we need good people.”

The company, which was established in 2000, is currently based in the 5,000ft sq top floor of Clarendon House. The additional lease of 2,500ft sq, representing half of the floor below, will host the customer services and administration departments.
