RIPON MP Julian Smith has paid a visit to a conference venue in the city to congratulate the company on earning accreditation from an industry body.

Livius Events, based at Ripon Racecourse, has been accredited by MIA, the Meetings Industry Association.

Andrew Wells, managing director of Livius Events, said: “As a new conference venue in Ripon and with our commitment to delivering a top quality customer service, we felt that it was important that Livius Events was accredited to the largest association within the meetings sector. This would give our clients confidence in our service levels and allow us to network with other members and access industries-specific training and events.

“We often find potential clients looking for accreditations and proof that we are legitimate and respected in the industry. The rigorous application process, which includes ‘Accreditation in Meetings’, guarantees that we comply with the highest standards.

“We proudly display the MIA logo on our website and at the main entrance to the conference rooms.”
