Food and drink businesses based across the district have been featured in a new guide to Yorkshire’s culinary luminaries.
Produced by deliciouslyorkshire, which celebrates and supports the region’s producers, the Yorkshire’s Own Kitchen guide provides advice on how to eat the best seasonally and locally. It also features recipes from the region’s food heroes and celebrity chefs, alongside foodie features and tips.
Yorkshire’s Own Kitchen also boasts a detailed directory of contact details for some of Yorkshire & Humber’s best food and drink producers, retailers, hospitality sector and caterers.
Food and drink businesses representing the Harrogate area in the guide are Fodder, Jakes, The Sawley Arms and Clocktower at Rudding Park. Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal, Hambleton Ales, Just Puds Ltd, Lockwoods Restaurant and Rosebud Preserves feature from the Ripon area, alongside Porter’s Preserves from Knaresborough and Wharfe Valley Farms from Collingham near Wetherby.
They feature alongside celebrity chef James Martin, star of Saturday Kitchen, who has recently launched a new restaurant, Leeds Kitchen, and who has penned the foreword of the fifth annual guide.
