Bedale student Katie Poulter has been visited at university by Country Land and Business Association (CLA) staff.

Katie, who is studying at Harper Adams University College, won a CLA Charitable Trust scholarship to study Rural Enterprise and Land Management.

Charitable Trust Director Peter Geldart and trustee Neil Mainwaring went along to see Katie and hear about her experiences at the Shropshire University College.

“The CLA Scholarship means everything to me,” Katie said.

“I was so proud to even get to the interview stage.

“The fact that they chose me confirmed I have chosen the right career path.

“To have won this award from an organisation as prestigious as the CLA is a great honour and I am honoured to be a representative for them.”
