The glittering but rootsy launch night was awash with invited guests from the local music scene and further afield, including Bill Nelson, leader of hit 70s rock band Be Bop Deluxe.

There were also exclusive live performances inside the recording rooms by a host of acts including Harrogate singers Holly Rose Webber, Rob Reynolds, Frank Mizen, Phil Dean, Biz Denton, Becky Mills, Roy Webber himself and two of Bob Harris’s own favourite discoveries - Tom Blackwell (with pedal steel guitarist Chris Hillman) and amazing headliner Robert Vincent.

With two large studios, three rehearsal rooms, vocal booth and drum room and space for writing and composing, Bob Harris will be using this plush new studio as his northern base for his series of Under the Apple Tree recordings with bands on tour.

The studio will tie these into special live boutique shows in the studios, ticket only events with live streaming, which promise to be very special evenings.

Already scheduled in to do a live streaming concert are local band Kassius.

Long-term plans including making the Warehouse Recording Co a residential venue for artists along with developing the work already under way composing and arranging music for TV and radio shows.

The studio also has facilities for producer hire, rehearsal space and more.
