New walks for ramblers to be introduced

Ramblers are being put on the trail with a new guide called Open Access Walks North Yorkshire – Ten Walks Across the Moors and Wolds. A joint publication from North Yorkshire County Council and the Ramblers, the guide gives details of walks taking in the classic Dales landscapes to the west of the county, the scenic Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the peaceful splendour of the Yorkshire Wolds.

Each walk makes use of Open Access land and vary from easy relaxing strolls to more challenging upland routes.
