Status Quo's Harrogate shows off
STATUS Quo fans were left disappointed when the famous rock band were forced to postpone their Harrogate shows.
Frontman Francis Rossi has been suffering from bronchitis, which led to problems with his throat.
He was advised that undertaking the shows would result in impaired performances.
Rossi said he was bitterly disappointed not to be able to perform.
"We hate to have to reschedule shows and hope that the fans realise that these situations are outside our control. My throat is getting better now and we look forward to seeing everyone early next year".
As well as Tuesday's and Wednesday's shows at the Harrogate International Centre, others affected included Stoke, Ipswich, Cambridge, Oxford and Halifax.
The good news for fans is that Status Quo have announced that they will reschedule the concerts and perform at the same venues.
Tickets for the postponed shows will still be valid and no further action need to be taken by customers.
Anyone unable to attend the new date and wishing a refund should return to their point of purchase.
The rescheduled Harrogate dates are: Monday, January 25 and Tuesday, January 26 - Harrogate International Centre.
