Save the Children annual sale on its way

Ripon’s annual Save the Children Nearly New Sale is set to take place in the city, with four days of stalls featuring everything from books to bric-a-brac.
Doors to the four-day sale will open on Wednesday, February 20, at Hugh Ripley Hall.
Organisers are appealing for people to donate their goods for sale at the hall on Monday, February 18, and Tuesday, February 19, from 10am-4pm.
They will accept any of the following items:
l bric-a-brac;
l toys;
l womenswear;
l menswear;
l children’s clothes;
l books;
l tools;
l household goods.
The sale will run until Saturday, February 23, when there will be a bin-liner day from 10am-noon where shoppers are asked to put all their items in a bin-liner provided by organisers and pay on their way out.
Doors open from 10.30am-7pm on Thursday, February 21 for late-night shoppers. On Friday, February 22, there will be a half-price day and doors will be open from 10.30am-4pm.
The entrance fee is £1.
