Snowdrops signal spring is on its way at Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal
The snowdrops are in bloom earlier than usual at the National Trust property and World Heritage Site near Ripon.
The first signs of the delicate white flowers appeared several weeks earlier than previous years due to the milder winter and they are now looking at their best.
Wrap up warm and take a walk along the banks of the River Skell to see the best of the snowdrops for the next few weeks.
For any keen photographers, the snowdrops present an opportunity for a great shot and you can share your photos by uploading them to the Fountains Abbey Facebook page. The estate is open daily from 10am. Last admission to the grounds is 4pm.
