Little Howard's Big Show.

THE nations’ favourite human-cartoon double act, Big Howard Little Howard,, return to the stage with their brand new comedy spectacular Little Howard’s Big Show at Harrogate Theatre shortly.

With three smash hit series’ of their acclaimed BBC One show Little Howard’s Big Question and a nomination for the prestigious Perrier Award under their belt, our heroes find themselves in trouble with the Queen following their performance on The Royal Variety Performance.

Now a sinister government inspector is lurking and our heroes must perform the show of their young, and not-quite-so-young, lives to save Big Howard from jail!

This brand new show features songs, sketches, magic, a cheeky pigeon from Barnsley, a brand new invisible character, The Royal Monkey Philharmonic Orchestra, a large frying pan and more laughs than should be possible.

With interactive stand-up, 3D animation and lots of songs this really is a show that all the family can enjoy.

Although the programme is broadcast on the BBC, which does not show commercial advertising, each episode features a comedy “advertising break” with imaginary products vaguely related to the big question.

Similarly, a frequent element throughout the series is the use of humorous pop culture references to appeal to an adult audience, and which would fly over younger viewers’ heads.

Big Howard and Little Howard have toured their hilarious hi-tech shows nationally and internationally to Melbourne, New York, Stockholm and Aspen.

Howard Read is a highly acclaimed stand-up comedian for adults who decided to create a show that would entertain parents as well as children.

His solo TV appearances include The World Stands Up (Paramount Comedy Channel) and 28 Acts in 28 Minutes (BBC3). He recently wrote and animated ‘Stairlift to Heaven’ for Gina’s Laughing Gear (CBBC) and his six-part series, Peacefully in Their Sleeps, received rave reviews on BBC Radio 4.

l Little Howard’s Big Show will be at Harrogate Theatre on Saturday, February 25 at 2.30pm.
