Knaresborough artist John Wilson has paid a visit to pupils at Applegarth School in Northallerton.
Some children worked with John to create their own group piece of artwork inspired by the 2012 Olympics and others created paintings of their own dreams and aspirations for life.
John said: “Working with the children has been a joy for me and I always say that I learn as much from them as I hope they do from me.
“I am sure that I have met some future artists today as some of them were more talented than I was at that age.”
The children learnt that John first became interested in art when he won a card making competition at the age of 10.
He is about to embark on a nationwide tour For further details visit his website
