The Gundog Club
TRAINING Courses: The Gundog Club is pleased to announce the launch of two new Gundog Training Course for Beginners. The courses will start in May with a Grade One and a Grade Two course running in Nun Monkton.

Similar courses run throughout the
UK, and each culminates in either The Gundog Club's Grade One or Grade Two test.

Grade One courses are an introduction to gundog training for beginners. The Gundog Club aims to introduce more gundog owners to this rewarding sport, helping people channel their pet's natural desires and talents into a useful and exciting activity. Grade Two courses provide support for novice trainers following The Gundog Club's graded training scheme, who have already achieved a basic Grade One standard with their dogs. The course builds on Grade One, introducing simple hand signals, heelwork off lead, and the stop whistle.

Taught only by Gundog Club Accredited Assessors, each course is accepting a maximum of six students for eight weekly, one hour sessions. Over the eight weeks, students will train their dogs in basic obedience and simple retrieving, in preparation for the appropriate test, which will take place in the final week. The Gloucestershire course are among nearly 30 available to book online now, with more being added regularly.
