Kirklington Village Hall AGM: Mr Tim Kendal chaired the AGM last week in Kirklington village hall to a good attendance.
After various items were discussed, Mr Ernest Nelson took the chair. Mr Kendal resigned chairmanship after seven years. Election took place, and Mr Greg Wood was voted chairman, Mr Mike Hook treasurer and Ellen Baren was re-elected secretary. New members were Christine Mitchell and Penny Wood. Thanks were expressed to those still on the committee and those retiring. Plans for 2008 were discussed.
