City Council freezes precept

Ripon Town Hall - City Council precept freeze.

Ripon City Council has voted to freeze its parish precept for the year 2013-14.

The precept is added to council tax payers’ bills to fund the city council’s budget, which was increased last year by 35 per cent to fund the £60,000 cost per year of the new city development manager role.
