BOROUGHBRIDGE Community Care was the winner when it held a bingo night in aid of its minibus appeal.
Held at the Coronation Hall, the event was a roaring success, attracting 180 players and raising more than £1,000 for the appeal.
Among those present was the Mayor of Boroughbridge, Coun Liz Vose, whose own mayoral appeal is for the the minibus fund.
Community Care chairman, Keith Trott, who acted as MC and bingo caller said: "Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, none more so than the lucky winners.
"This is the first time we've run an event like this and I would really like to say a big thank you to all those who came along, the local business which sponsored the event and to all the BCC committee and volunteers who helped make the evening such a success."
